Page 337 is also a dilemma for the Executive Trustee. All those who were consecrating and proving faithful, and finding no crowns available for themselves, must now have that possibility starting in 1878. It is amazing that the "present view" idea that came from E4, pages 375 and 376 contradicts so many references in the same book. Does the Executive Trustee actually believe that Bro. Johnson changed his mind between 337 and 375? Why don't the brethren defend Bro. Johnson instead of supporting a man, a movement and such error?

The Epiphany Antitype-Immature Application

(28) Bro. Russell is not to be faulted for his immature application (in F 129) of the Gershonite Levites antitypically to "the saved world of mankind," because it was made before the fuller Truth on these Levites correctly applying antitypically to the Youthful Worthies was due to be understood (see E 4, p. 323). Likewise, Bro. Johnson is not to be faulted for making an immature application in E 11, p. 715, of "the five daughters of Zelophehad-(Num. 27: 1-11)" to the Youthful Worthies, because it was made before the fuller truth on them was due to be understood. He did not identify five groups of the Youthful Worthies as being typed by them. But his applying these daughters as typing the Youthful Worthies—Spirit-enlightened, non-Spirit-begotten fully consecrated ones—helps us to understand that these daughters do type associated tentatively justified brethren who in the post-Sept. 16, 1954 Epiphany period become Spirit-enlightened, non-Spirit-begotten fully consecrated ones—i.e., Consecrated Epiphany Campers. As we shall see from what follows, the Scriptures, reason and facts show that these daughters could not type Youthful Worthies; rather, in this setting they type Consecrated Epiphany Campers.

Crowns - How Lord Chooses Replacements Since 1881.

Questions (1921)—Would not the Lord since 1881 invariably choose for vacant crowns those consecrators who were in the Truth?

Answer.—The Scriptures and facts given under the preceding question prove that such was not His course. He doubtless decided rather from the standpoint of the availability of the candidates for the particular vacant crown. This principle would cause Him sometimes to choose from those consecrators who were in the Truth, and sometimes from those not in the Truth, the latter furnishing the majority of those who were favored with the spirit begettal during the Harvest. Hence it is to be concluded that not the amount of Truth possessed, but the quality of the heart’s attitude toward the Truth possessed would be the largest factor in determining the Lord’s choice for a special crown. He coupled, of course, with this the person’s talents and providential situation as helping to make him available for that particular crown. ’21-30

Page 327 offers the Executive Trustee a problem. Bro. Johnson tells us plainly that it is from 1881, not 1878, when there are brethren who are not Spirit begotten. That has to be moved back to meet the "present view" idea. We also have to move their development to the Harvest.

Bro. Jolly explains this in PT May-June, 1963, p. 43:
"Somewhat similarly, the Youthful Worthies, though developed as a class in the Epiphany, will nevertheless have their eventual inheritance as Millennial and post-Millennial Levites (E 4, p. 323; P '40, pp. 13, 14); they are not really Epiphany Levites, for the Great Company in its three groups—Kohathites, Merarites and Gershonites—are the Epiphany Levites. But their being Millennial Levites does not mean that the Millennial-Age Tabernacle must be in operation in the time in which they are developed in this life.

From the standpoint of their development, the Youthful Worthies are persisting Gospel-Age Levites. Note, e.g., Bro. Johnson's statements in E 4, p. 322: 'Remember of the Gospel-Age Levites that they lap over the Harvest Period, because of the lapping of the two Ages. . . . During the Transitional Period those Levites, the tentatively justified, who will not consecrate lose their tentative justification, i.e., cease to be tentative Levites and are put out of the Court; while those who do consecrate, the Youthful Worthies, retain their tentative justification and remain in the Court as Gospel-Age Levites [italics ours] of three groups, Kohathites, Merarites and Gershonites, throughout the Transitional Period.'

Thus the Youthful Worthies are 'persisting Gospel Age Levites in the transition time'—in the Epiphany Tabernacle—though they have their eventual inheritance as Millennial Levites. But this does not mean that the Gospel-Age and the Millennial-Age Tabernacles are "working" now. Only the Epiphany Tabernacle is 'working' now."

Now to page 323. If the Truth on the Youthful Worthies was not due before the Epiphany, then the Executive Trustee's separate and distinct class existing since 1881 was hidden for some unknown reason. The best we can do with this page is to point out this oddity.
