Bible Standard Ministries/LHMM Sectarianism and Clericalism Reaches India

Another one of Leon Snyder's unnecessary letters reaches India.

The executive trustee and supporters of the Bible Standard Ministries/LHMM take the same path as Rutherford

...[The Foreword of Vol. VI], he still taught that one is justified before his consecration, because numerous Scriptures teach it...

…the Society's president reiterates, for perhaps the hundredth time, a falsehood that he knows to be a falsehood, i.e., that our Pastor for years taught that a person could be justified before consecration and then later gave up this thought. We will prove in Volume VI such a statement of our Pastor's view to be an error, and as presented by the Society's president to be a falsehood;  and now we charge the Society's president, who has repeatedly said that our Pastor gave up tentative justification before he died, with deliberately, and therefore wickedly, misrepresenting our Pastor's position on the subject, which he doubtless does the more easily to palm off a false doctrine. The item in the above mentioned paragraph is introduced to illustrate allegedly how the (supposed) advancing Truth clarifies previous obscurities. And what actually took place in our Pastor's experience as to his teaching on justification in its time relation to consecration was a case of an advancing truth clarifying obscurities; but note the fact that the truth of justification before consecration at no time was repudiated by our Pastor. We repeat it: Our Pastor never denied or repudiated his teaching that one was justified before his consecration; for up to within a few days before his death, in his last printed statement on the subject [The Foreword of Vol. VI], he still taught that one is justified before his consecration, because numerous Scriptures teach it, notably Rom. 3 and 4 and Gal. 2, and, as for years he had been doing, he called such justification up to the very end a tentative one. But in 1909 he began, by contrast, to call attention to a twofold distinction in justification, a thing that he did not with the distinctiveness of a striking contrast, with suitably differentiating terms, bring out before. He came to see distinctly that justification is exercised in two ways by God: (1) tentatively, which is its mode of operation before consecration, and (2) vitalizedly, which is its mode of operation after consecration. While he taught both of such justifications years before 1909, yet then for the first time he brought them out by differentiated terms in striking contrast with one another, and clearly showed when each of them operated. But the Society's president repudiates tentative justification, claiming that there is no justification at all operating before consecration, and belies our Pastor's view by claiming that he, like the Society's president, gave up tentative justification, i.e., the justification that operates before consecration. Our Pastor truly did advance with the advancing light on the subject, and therefore when the due time came he clarified the subject wherein it before had been obscure, by explaining and proving that tentative justification during the Gospel Age, and in keeping with its purposes, operates exclusively before consecration, and that after the priesthood's consecration vitalized justification operates exclusively. The error of the paragraph under review lies in the fact that it silently ignores the existence of tentative justification and denies the existence of justification in any sense for Gospel-Age purposes before consecration. The stubbornness, perversity and dishonesty of the Society's president on this subject is a strong proof that he either has not "developed character," or, after having done so, he corrupted it grossly. The latter we believe to be true of him.

Sectarianism, and Clericalism Meet The Brethren Head On In Poland

Since the current executive trustee took over the BSM/LHMM movement in 2004, subtle changes where made to the spirit begotten's writings. Most of the Brethren didn't pay attention. Those who did, and spoke up against the error were dismissed, called sifters, and accused of violating the arrangements. With the exception of Chicago, and the California ecclesia, every class in America was split in two. Now the same evil has reached Poland

The Burden of Proof Lays Upon The BSM/LHMM

1. What wrong doings are these Brothers guilty of? 

2. What conduct did they display that isn't conducive to any Christian?

3. What actions did they display that wasn't in harmony with the Parousia, Epiphany, or Basileia Truth?

To our understanding the general call to this joint-heirship with our Redeemer as members of the New Creation of God, ceased in 1881. But we apprehend that a large number (in all the various denominations of Christendom— probably twenty or thirty thousand) who at that time had made full consecration of themselves, have not proven faithful to their covenant of self-sacrifice. These, one by one, as their full measure of testing is reached, if found unfaithful, are rejected from fellowship in the called company—to the intent that others who meantime have consecrated, though not under the call, may be admitted to full relationship in this fellowship with Christ and his joint- heirs, that they, in turn, may stand their testing and, if found unworthy, be similarly rejected and their places be filled by still others who will be waiting in an attitude of consecration. Evidently, by such arrangement, no necessity has existed for any general call since 1881. Those now admitted can as well be granted their privileges and opportunities without coming under the general call or invitation which ceased in 1881—they are admitted on application, as opportunity permits, to fill up the places of those who are going out. It is our expectation that this work of going out and coming in will continue until the last member of the new order of creation shall have been found worthy, and all the crowns everlastingly apportioned.

Bro. Dan Herzig's Misrepresentation of the Chicago Truth Brethren

Bro. Dan Herzig spoke at a recent convention in Poland and misrepresented the Chicago Brethren's communication with other Brethren concerning Bro. Ralph Herzig.

At 29 minutes and 49 seconds he says, "...They say history repeats itself. And when the split came when Bro. Ralph was the transitioning person, there was some Brethren in Chicago area that joined in on the opposing group. They knew a number of Brethren here in Poland, and pretty soon there is negative input coming by way of hearsay. We don't like Bro. Ralph. Why? Do you know him? Well, no... a brother or sister said. They wouldn't lie to me. Let's watch out dear Brethren..."

The Chicago Brethren aren't opposed to Bro. Ralph Herzig as the Executive Trustee. They are opposed to Bro. Ralph Herzig's misrepresenting the Truth and changing the Spirit Begotten's writings.

"Those not going at first to the sphere of this work (Jerusalem, v. 4), i.e., the majority of the Little Flock, were encouraged to help this work on with Divine Truth (silver and gold, v. 4) and providential helps (goods . . . beasts) and self denying service (freewill offering). This invitation was especially a charge to some Little Flock brethren to help the Great Company and Youthful Worthies unto their being properly built into the Court of the Lord’s Epiphany sanctuary, even though the Youthful Worthy class was already there during the Harvest."

Thanks to the Executive Trustee, we have to add text to Bro. Johnson's writings. If the Youthful Worthies were already a class long before 1914, then it should be indicated in some way.

"And, finally, when we consider the immense number of prophecies and types that relate to the actual overthrow of Satan's empire by the World War, World Revolution, World Anarchy and by the last phase of Jacob's Trouble, all four of these phases being mingled with famine and pestilence, Israel's large scale return to Palestine and conversion to Christ, the continued development of two new elect classes of God's people as such one class and the development of another, the Great Company and the Youthful Worthies the Youthful Worthies and the Great Company, as the Court of the Epiphany Camp, consisting of the loyal justified and the converted loyal Jews, we should conclude that it is one of the three main seasons of God's plan."

In E10, The Epiphany Messenger we have to start modifying the text on the very first page so it will work with the Executive Trustee's confusion on the Youthful Worthies. The term "as such" means as classes in the Epiphany. If the Youthful Worthies were already a class in the Parousia, then we need to indicate it and we need to change the order of the two classes. What a mess!

"In a less emphatic sense he forecast saw the Youthful Worthy movement; for he taught that consecrations without the Spirit-begettal would take place from 1878 onward during the ministry of the Great Company. He did not use the term, Youthful Worthies; but he did speak of those who are meant by that term. We see about us such a class already in existence now forming. The Epiphany Truth has brought out various details with reference to this class; and his teachings now passing into visual fulfillment in seeing that they were already a class their development as a class, he must have been "that Servant" in giving us the information forecast; for such information a forecast implies that its maker was the one who had full charge of the storehouse—was that Servant. "

Brother Russell cannot forecast a future class if the class is already in existence during his lifetime. Here in E9, we've fixed these pages for the Executive Trustee. It now fits his error.
